Overview
Effective practitioners need to know what to do, why it matters and how to recognise a weak result. Web Application Testing develops that judgement by helping learners test modern web applications across user journeys, browsers, responsive layouts, data flows and failure conditions. The programme integrates web application architecture for testers, user journeys, personas and risk-based scope and navigation, links, content and state transitions rather than teaching them as isolated topics. Using a representative web product, learners explore requirements, design risk-based scenarios, inspect client-server behaviour, test forms and sessions, compare browser behaviour and report defects with usable evidence. They complete a compact web-testing portfolio project that demonstrates coverage reasoning rather than a checklist of random clicks.
