Overview
Performance Testing with JMeter is built around the decisions practitioners make when they need to design and run credible JMeter tests that model workload, capture meaningful measurements and avoid common scripting and execution mistakes. Learners move from performance questions, risks and measurable objectives into workload modelling, then apply jmeter architecture and test-plan elements in realistic exercises. Participants create HTTP test plans, correlate dynamic values, parameterise data, add assertions and pacing, execute in non-GUI mode and interpret response time, throughput and error evidence against stated objectives. Discussion and review activities highlight common failure modes, responsible tool use and the evidence needed to communicate confidence. The course emphasises that a large thread count is not a performance strategy; workload assumptions, environment health and analysis determine whether results are useful.
